UBIqube Solutions SA, a global integrated network and security-management solution vendor, today announced a new, enhanced version of MSActivator TM that combines VoIP services with network and security services in one integrated platform.
MSActivator 9.0’s offers a unified solution for network security and voice management and monitoring. It also lowers operating expenses by reducing the time required to manage VoIP services and provides a unified Web portal for provisioning, monitoring and reporting.
The platform’s enhanced features for VoIP management include:
- Essential telephony and voice mail configuration
- Data/voice twin-VLAN configuration on call-manager express (CME) and unified communications (UC) routers
- Session initiation protocol (SIP) trunk configuration between CME and UC
- Easy VPN setup for non-VoIP routers
- Easy configuration of proper QoS settings for optimum VoIP experience
For end-users, the new features are integrated in the self-service unified Web portal for the management of IP phones, dial plans, user groups and voicemail.
In addition to managed VoIP services, MSActivator 9.0 offers service providers, system integrators, and MSSPs a user-friendly and intuitive GUI interface, vulnerability assessment and support for Cisco UC500 devices. The platform is hosted by service providers in their SOC/NOC, but can also be offered on an IT-as-a-service basis to MSSPs relying on the UBIqube EAL1+ securely operated SOC.
“Despite all its benefits, implementing VoIP is time consuming and presents organizational and security challenges that can only be met by using a unified management tool,” said Nabil Souli, CEO and chairman of UBIqube. “MSActivator 9.0’s enhancements, which are driven by the needs of our partners, meet those challenges in an integrated platform for VoIP, network and security services.”
In addition to building on UBIqube’s vision of converged service delivery, which has been validated by the company’s service provider partners and eco-system partners like Cisco Systems, MSActivator 9.0 enables service providers and system integrators to expand beyond the traditional range of services while lowering the cost of delivery.
